Eternal Feather
AKA. Yuukyuu no Tsubasa
July 24, 2008

Update - Added a single note (concert D) to both main melody lines at
beat 4 of bar 26 and bar 105. This was previously missed
due to a deletion error when organizing the parts.

Notes and known issues:
- While the original song has a tempo of 135, I increased the tempo of
the midi to 144 because it sounded a little better in my opinion. The
sheet music still show the 135 tempo though.
- The brass part is rather repetitive, and sometimes requires
up to 4 instruments to play. Please adjust it to your own
  liking in performance.
- While primarily based on the original Eternal Feather, this arrangement
has some intentional deviations from that version of the song. These
exist because I felt the 07 remix version had a better part at that
portion of the song, and thus replaced the part in the original with
that in the 07 mix version.
All the replacements are as follows:
  - Piano part at bar 47.
  - Electric bass part at bar 8 and 87 actually plays the treble piano part
in the 07 mix. I didn't replace the piano here because the original
piano part is also somewhat important, while the E.bass part wasn't
    as much.
  - Percussion part at bar 83.
  - The violin solo starting from bar 86 is mostly based on the 07 mix
    expression-wise.
  - Violin II part at bar 91.
  - The chorus at bar 133 contains elements of both versions. The dominant violin
in 07 mix is given to the VI part, while original's dominant violin is in VII.
E.bass part is from the original, while the piano is from 07. The other 3
string parts are mostly based on the original's.
  - The very ending of the song is completely replaced with the 07 mix, because
original required an organ for that part alone, while the 07 mix had a
    better violin solo-ish ending.
- Violin III part at bar 50 should actually have quater notes Eb and F (as harmony
to the voice part in the original music), but the midi playback of this causes
extremely bad dissonance, therefore I changed those two notes to D and F#. Feel
free to experiment with both versions in practice.
- Treble piano part at bar 162 is almost a blind guess. It's rather difficult to
make out what the actual notes are given the tempo slowing, low volume, and
pedal effect in the actual music.
- The percussion at bar 144 alone should have 2 sets of triplets played on the bass
drums (similar to the proceeding bar) in addition to what's already written in,
but for clarity and playability reasons I omitted them from the sheet.
- Some 'creativity' was involved in writing the piano part; this is due to the
fact that the piano isn't always present with both treble and bass parts,
so it's either what I have now or bass part that either rest or pound out
whole note chords for ~30 bars, like in the song...
- I wrote some effects into the midi that aren't included in the sheet music
(2 extra piano parts to be exact). These parts are not very important,
EXTREMELY messy, and rely much on stereo effects to make them sound decent
in performance. With that said, if you still want them, contact me and
I will try to produce somewhat legible sheets to those parts.
- Sorry about the lack of variation in some of the strings parts. There really
was... nothing... in the original music.
- The cello part is dual voiced at certain portions of the song, and thus
require two cellos to play. If only one is available, play the higher
  notes during dual voiced portions.
- Feel free to adjust the pedal markings that almost completely span across
the piano part. Usually, holding the notes out to their full length within
  the bar is probably enough.

If you find errors or unplayable sections in this transcription, please e-mail me,
and I'll correct them to the best of my abilities. And please do not redistribute
or modify my transcription or midi in any way without my consent.
